Corfu, the blue green island. It is the jewel of the
Ionian sea. With it's
stunning beauty it rises from the crystal clear and blue sea. Its a true
paradise. If you arent in love when you come here, you surely will be in this
fantastic island when you leave. The people of Corfu are friendly and they know how
to make you feel like home. The island has a variety of
cultures here which you will find in the different architecture all over the island.
Corfu is very fertile and it's said that it has about 3-4 million olive
trees. You can also find figs, oranges, lemons and grapes. On a hot summer day
you can often find the people of Corfu resting in the shadows of the large olive trees. Corfu
is divided into 4 regions which are:
Gyros, Oros, Mesis and Lefkimi. If you want more information about the regions,
